About Me: Female, 46, Tampa, FL, member since Sep 2012
I am a 42 year old mom. I got sick a little over a year ago and in the process discovered I have high cortisol and low aldosterone, but I have lost weight rather than gained weight so endo's don't think it's cushings. What else could it be? No one can find the source
[More] of the extra cortisol and I am frustrated, wanting my life back.... So far I have had a ct of adrenals (normal) and a petrosal sinus sampling (not pituitary) but all cortisol tests come back high. My cortisol elevates at night, especially. What else is there?
