About Me: Male, 58, Tweed Heads , Australia, member since Sep 2012
Live I Australia, have had Hepatitis C for 25 to 30 years,am starting therapy soon, have earl Cirrhosis and am wanting to stay the course.I like women, music, humor, and loyal people I am a cristian, believe in jesus, but try to live by example rather than preach.
I take it one day at a time. I am having a rough time lately. How much is just my liver failing and how much it is treatment side effects I really can't say. I am on week 9 and undetectable, so I am happy with that. Worse case I just have to tough it our for the next number of months until I get a new liver. I don't know of any pre or post transplant patients that don't have "issues". Mine are not the that bad in comparision. I saw a friend today who had her tranplant 11 years ago. She has had breast cancer. This year she lost her husband to cancer and now she has a cancer that may be incurable. The woman has a zillion times more guts than me. She fights every day. This is only one story, of one person, at our transplant center. How can I complain about my little pains and woe?
