I'm sory to hear about your nissen coming undone, that is scarey for me, i just had mine done 2 weeks ago and am still recovering and i had no idea how many have to be redone. Do you know why they come undone? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks. My email is ***@****
You are in my thoughts and prayers. I can relate to you with your Fundo. I had my first Fundo September 2008. The first month to three months out were ok, but after that...........wow, downhill. I had a second Bravo two weeks ago which showed abnormalities. My gastro dr spoke to the surgeon who had done my surgery last fall and he asked that I have another Barium Swallow. That procedure was done a week ago. The radiologist indicated the wrap has slipped, but also indicated that my esophagus looks short. The surgeon wanted to discuss this response and also go over my pictures from the Barium Swallow with his associates and with the radiologist. He said I would ne looking at a scond surgery. My esophagus is so red and inflamed, burning is aweful. should find out this week
