Hi, just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know that hubby's 6 mo check up with his hepatologist on Thursday went well. No signs of cancer, no signs of decompensation. Next ultrasound and check back with her is in December.

My hubby saw his hepa last Thursday. CT scan results were clear, no sign of liver cancer. Lab results were good, liver is still compensated. Will have an endoscopy this month (routine screening). Next appt for labs, ultrasound, and follow up with hepa is May. She believes sofosbuvir will be submitted for approval about April, 2013, and be available for commercial use about the end of 2013. She believes that sofosbuvir treatment for difficult to treat G1a’s will be sofosbuvir combined with Interferon and Ribavirin. Hope all is well with you.

No, my husband isn't checking into the ABT trials yet. He just had a routine 6 month CT scan, and we'll be meeting with his hepatologist at the UW Med Ctr in a couple of weeks to get the results of that and talk about whether or not any trials might be available to him at this time. In the meantime, his liver is still compensated and so far no signs of liver cancer. Keep me posted on whether or not you decide to do the ABT trial.

Hi hopeful51, just checking in. Haven't heard back from you about your recent appt. How did it go? I just met another forum member on-line who lives in Washington. Hope you're doing well. Love to hear your update.
