That is good news. I tend to agree with the doc's assessment of the lab values. If there is any concern, you could simply check the labs again in about 1 month and see if they are back in 'normal' range.
Sofia - you are very welcome. I feel very bad that you have been so worried about that. I really wish some docs would leave such advising to the specialists (especially if they are giving out bogus numbers!). ENT docs also recognize that most cases of tonsillar "asymmetry" are not that at all. The tonsils are most commonly the same size after all, only one is hidden a little more by the anterior tonsillar pillar. At the end of the day, if you still have concerns about this, make an appointment with a board-certified ENT specialist.
