The man in my life is a disabled/retired Army Green Beret. He suffers chronic pain from a parachute accident. He also has Depression, PTSD and a mildly leaking heart valve.
My sister is also one of my closest friends. She is raising her 10 y.o. granddaughter who has Autism. My sister is 47 and already suffers from Arthritis, Degenerative Disc Disease, Sciatica, Migraines, TMJ, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, IBS, GERD, sleep problems, Anxiety/Panic Disorder.
My other best friend is my 43 y.o. brother. He has a history of Petit-Mal seizures, Migraines, high cholesterol, kidney stones, sleep problems, lower back pain ever since he was a kid.
Grandparents, aunts, uncles and 1st cousins on both sides of my family have a history of Alzheimer's/Dementia (Dad's mom and 2 of his sisters), Depression, Anxiety, Lung Cancer, Colon Cancer, Breast Cancer, Uterine Cancer, Skin Cancer, Leukemia, Stroke/TIAs, High Blood Pressure, High Cholesterol, "Hardening of the Arteries", PAD, Heart Attack, Arthythmia, Tachycardia, Emphysema/COPD, Asthma, Eczema, Cataracts, Glaucoma, Type I Diabetes, Type II Diabetes, Arthritis, Degenerative Disc Disease, Gallbladder Disease, Cirrohsis of the liver, Alcoholism, Thryoid Disease, Celiac Sprue Disease, Crohn's Disease, Endometriosis, Grand Mal seizures, SIDS, painful, swollen knees and legs, Charco-Marie Tooth Disease, Fibromyalgia, severe Periodontitis, TMJ, sensitivities/adverse reactions to medications/anesthesia, Sleep Apnea [Less]

You're in my thoughts today after reading you mood. I am so very sorry that you Mom has passed. I care for my elderly father in my home. He has an end-stage diagnosis and is dying. I soon will face his loss also and my heart goes out to you.
I wish there were words that could ease your pain. Hold tight to the good memories. I beleive your Mum is in a better place and you will see her again. Her love and spirit will live on through you.
