That accomplished successfully, he started Interferon/Ribavirin treatment (in conjunction with Alinia) in Nov. 2008, was undetected at 13 weeks, continued treatment for 137 weeks, but relapsed at 12-week post. Diagnosed with multi-focal HCC recurrence in Aug 2010 and treated with 3 sessions of TACE. Expanding HCC and local metastasis confirmed Aug. 2011 treated unsuccessfully with Nexavar. Decompensation, lymph node, and distant metastasis confirmed Nov 2011. Current status Stage 4 liver cancer.
