Firstly i think your brother in law is showing his ignorance towards FMS it is a world wide illness,it diagnosed by 18 pressure points and when they are touched it hurts real bad.The pain threshold of an FMS suffer is very low and it mostly affects women more than men.
I have been to quite a few specialists for different aliments and to the most part are all fibro linked.I have become so tender if anyone touches me or bumps me the pain is terrible.Sometimes even a hug
is unbearable.I put off going to bed because my lower back pains and cramps/spasms in my legs now that one can make you scream.
