[More]at I couldn't walk. It felt like I was digesting glass. I began ripping my diet apart. I didn't eat much meat because I didn't care for the taste and thought it caused constipation. It felt like I was riding a medical rollarcoaster. I would feel good and then I would feel sick again later on in the day. Eventually, after losing so much weight and feeling even worse than before a friend suggested I try elliminating gluten from my diet. Jan. of 2012 I stopped eating gluten and after 5 days I felt amazing! My intestines felt itchy and I was squirmy for a while, but after that went again I felt amazing! After feeling great I began realizing its more than just gluten but cellulose and hydrogenated vegitable oil as well that affected my digestive system. As long as I stay away from those foods Im great...but when I eat others the symptoms start up again, but add depression and anxiety and mental fog. Now I face the fact that my restricted diet and passion for running cross country make it hard to keep up the vitamin intake I need.
