You're in my thoughts and thanks for responding. So glad to hear you continue to do well, my mum just finished chemo and her CA is at 7 after 3 years. It's so optimistic that there are more chemos available to treat ovca and I hope that more research is done and awareness is raised. So many women I talk to know nothing about ovca or it's symptoms so I spread the word where I can. Carolyn
Just a quick note to say hi! I just read your profile. You are an inspiration. I was stage 3c recurred after 9 months, have been on gemzar/carbo, now started doxil. I was starting to worry since no break this time. Hope you coninue to do well. Donna
Congratulations! Time for a celebration... you are an inspiration at 5 1/2 years, my mother is stage 4 dx May 2005 and ca125 down to 8 at present, she also had a 2 year remission. I've told my mother about your success to keep her looking ahead, you really are the stage 4 poster girl here - I pray for both of you that a cure is just around the corner or just being able to manage this terrible disease for the long term would be fantastic which is exactly what you seem to be doing.
Hugs - Carolyn
