How fortuitous! I just got online and saw your note! Yes I miss Kentucky very much. I'm an 8th generation Kyian on both sides of my family...all settled there around 1800 in E-Ky but I grew up mostly in Lexington and graduated from UK my big brother graduated from Centre and I'm pushing for my daughter to go there! Love that school. As you can see from my Pic...baby foal...I am a Kyian! I think Cindy does have a medical background...she is very knowledgeable and gives very sound advice...My advice is for you to be your own advocate! You are the boss in the doctor patient relationship and sometimes you just have to remind your doctor that. Enough said. Take care of yourself and stay warm!
Hello Trisha: Just now saw your postings and wanted to let you know I'm thinking of you. I'm originally from Lexington now living in Austin Tx. I'm also dealing with this ovca like you and looking for 2nd line of chemo here. Hope you get some good discussion with your doctor. Cindy seems to know of what she is talking about and gave you some very good advice. Let us know how things are going with you. Your Central Kyian expatriot.
