Well lets see, I was born into a family that has a number of health issues, mainly psychological. I started having nausea, dizziness, and blackouts when I was 15. I've never wanted to burden anyone so I let it go and dealt. As I got older and had children it worsened
[More] so I finally went to a doctor about it about 5 years ago. He sent me to a ear specialist convinced I had Mieneres disease. Well guess what, there is nothing wrong with my ears. The ear specialist asked if had stress and anxiety issues and I told him that it ran in the family nothing new. He said it could cause nausea, dizziness, and blackouts. So he put me on Effexor. My doctor wasn't happy because he didn't believe in medicine for emotional issues but dealt because the medicine was already prescribed. It's been about 5 years now and for the last year my emotions seem to be a bit more out of wack than usual, I have had shingles twice this year, and now hives for 3 months. My doctor takes more than a month to get into so I thought I would find a new one. She doesn't seem that knowledgeable in my area but I figured I would give it a shot. Starting to wonder if there isn't someone else that doesn't know more though. Life is definitely testing me that is for sure.
