Zipperhead as of Oct 9, 2012. After visiting many neurosurgeons through the years (tonsils 11 and 13mm) that did not agree on whether surgery was necessary or not I visited the Mayo clinic. Mayo did not believe surgery would help. I did not give up and decompression
[More] was performed by Doctor Oro, Chiari Care Center, Aurora CO. Feeling better after surgery but still experiencing fatigue and severe arm pain. I wonder how much can be conected to a squashed pituitary gland (empty sella). I plan to visit an endocrinologist soon and I am currently going to physical therapy. I have been told to give it a year, and I don't regret the surgery. I have been married 28 years, almost 29. On medical retirement from the federal government after 31 years of service. Would like to return to work.
