If you do not manage the yeast it can get out of control an get the upper hand and turn into bacteria, especially in the gastrointestinal tract, moving through the body into the ears, mouth,eyes and throat. Sugar is the main culprit. plain yogurt has probotics that can increase the good bacteria in the intestines,out numbering the bad bacteria that the yeast can destroy and grow. By all means you should eat a cup of plain yogurt daily with fresh fruit, not the kind at the store with all that sugar in it, this where people make the mistake when buying yogurt at the supermarket, this kind is defeating the purpurse, becauseiyeast feeds on sugar to survive. Dr, Crooks book explains all this. Always plain yogurt.
