I'm a 30yr old single mother of a 4 yr old. I am trying to get better because she needs me. Thank god for her too because if it wasn't for her, who knows where I would be. I just came here looking for a little support. I feel like nobody understands me. I just recently
[More] started getting treated for depression/bipolar and I've gotten so much better in the last year. I almost feel like my old self again; there are so many things I want to accomplish but feel I can't. I'm a graduate from Business school and am now going to school for Psychology. Just a quick note to say hi! I am brand new to the forum and have read so many helpful things. I read something you wrote a long time ago that really caught my attention - that you had tailbone pain. I think you are the first person I have ever read that had that. A little about me - first Chiari showed up on MRI in 2003 (possibly earlier, but not sure) - and have headaches all my life. High tolerance for pain...started Topamax about the same time. In the last year, other headaches have gotten much worse. NL sent me for cine MRI and confirmed 10mm and CSF blockage. I am meeting with 3rd NS next week...just very confused about what to do. Was the tailbone pain related to CM??
