About Me: Female, 45, Sydney, Australia, member since Jan 2013
I joined this site to get some support and meet women who are also in the same situation - TTC healthy babies : ) This journey has been an emotional roller coaster so thought this site would be a great idea to reach out to others. My intention for my life is to be grate
[More]ful and happy with what I already have and make 'us' into a family by having our own kids : )
dont be to hard on yourself with the bf. Since I had my boys early my body wouldn't produce more than an ounce at each feeding so I only bf for like 2wks but they were in the nicu and that was enough for them at the time. Once they strayed eating more we had to formula feed as I couldn't produce enough. Your babies are new, it will be hard for at least a few months but around 3-4 months of age it gets easier as you will be able to get a routine going. For me I honestly didn't enjoy motherhood for those first 4 months. It was so hard, I had no help, the lack of sleep and 2 demanding babies can make for one unhappy momma. I hate that I felt that way but I know that it's normal to feel like that. Hang in there it does get easier!
