Hi Carolyn, Thanks for the message.
I am OK, I go back to the doctor in 3 weeks to get blood test done. I am on Synthroid and a T3 medication. This is a new doctor, so we will see how it goes. I have every symptom for Hashimoto's, so it is very difficult. I don't know how I am able to work all the hours I work...guess it is just habit, but I am exhausted all the time.
Thanks again for the email, I appreciate it.
Shelley
Hello, My yet again, new doctor says it is normal to gain weight as your antibodies fight against itself. I have gained 30 pounds in the past 2 years. I went undiagnosed for years, and finally last September was diagnosed and my levels were off the charts! I am seeing another new doctor, and he has me back on Synthroid 100 + Cytomel. I told him that I believe I did better on a version of Armor thyroid, but he insists that Synthroid is more stable.
I know that there is more I can do to try to loose weight, it is just all the problems and symptoms that come with Hashimotos that it is hard to get moving and get motivated. How long have you had Hashimoto's?
