Just a quick note to say hi!
Hi there, I have never posted before. I didn't mean to say happy birthday! Ha.
I have had bp for two years, at least that is what they think it is. It went away for a while
and came back with avengenence. It is truly a nightmare so I sympathize with you. I have tried
just about everything, I think....I am using Protopic ointment from my dermetologist, twice a day
and also clabadesol ointment, twice a week. Also taking 900 mg of neurontin a day. Since I have been
doing what I am supposed to, for the past week, I see a big improvement in my arms. I don't know if
my success will continue, but just wanted to let you know what is helping me right now. Best of luck
to you, you aren't alone.
Hugs,
Lyndi
Just a quick note to say hi!
I have the same issue and have sucessfully used two products that have minimized the effects. i start in the mornings by gently hand washing my forearms with Cerave soap (Walgreens) then I spray on Lanacane Anti-Bacterial spray(any drug store). I repeat this step in the evening sometime before I go to bed. I do this everday while I am experiencing the itching and burning on my forearms (usually between September and March). I have also added a warm mist humidifier (Walgreens: Vicks Brand; easy to clean and resist mildew) on a timer (hour when I go to bed and three hours right before I get up in the mornings) this seems to help with the symptoms. So far this has made a HUGE difference in my life. I find I am getting sleep and feel human in the mornings.
