A TENS unit is a thing that delivers electrical stimulation to your muscles via a small box and 4 pads that you place on your skin. The electrical stimulation just feels like vibrations unless you turn it up to much then it can be a bit painful. It distracts from the pain by giving your nerve endings something better to do. You can get your doctor to order one. It really helps a lot for any type of chronic pain. You can get one through your physician. The hardest part is where to put it first. It does have some serious risks such as if you put it on your neck it could collapse your throat or if on your chest it could interfere with your heart. But for the back and legs it is wonderful! Hope that helps.
Just a quick note to say hi! It's great to see you pop back through - it sure has been a while.
Happy New Year right back atcha! I hope all is well with you. I'm just getting over the flu; but, feeling much better now. Trying to get my butt moving more this year. LOL Thanks so much for thinking of me. :-)
