Hello! I just had a Kenalog shot today for RA. I had the injection at 9 am, and it's 4 pm now, and I've been getting pretty bad dizzy spells... is this normal?
Thank you
Amanda
Dr. Navneet,
Can you please help me? My name is Tiffany, I am 26, I have Unison insurance & I was diagnosed with Klippel-Feil Syndrome when I was a baby. I had two necessary surgeries when I was 2 & 4 years old. I have 13 ribs on my left side & 9 on my right side, scoliosis, spina bifida & much more. I can't find a doctor that will help me, no one that I've seen knows anything about my disorder, I have been treated as a science experiment long enough! I'm tired of doctors not listening to me, I can't do physical therapy & injections, it causes me more severe pain, but they keep pushing me beyond my limits. Pain medication is the only thing that has ever helped the pain at all & I can't find anyone to prescribe it. Do you know anyone that can help me? Please, I'm at my last straw!
Good Morning Dr Navneet,
Please can you help me?
Please can you clarify something for me,i have posted various threads, had lots of help but no definitive answer.
Lumbar fusion L5/S1 SEPT 2007,ok for approx 1 month after, felt great.
Have declined ever since, and only seen my neurosurgeon once since op.
i recently got hold of my xray taken 1 day post op,and all screws look fine apart from one of L5 screw which looks to clip just the corner of the bone and then exits into the healthy l4/l5 disc space.is this a malplaced screw,as the pain is getting increasingly hard to take even with all my meds, and i have recurring numbness and discolouration of legs, some urinary incontinence, and the same symptoms coming back as pre op.unsure if xray was ever checked.
Hello, Dr. Navneet
I just read your response to an individual with widespread paresthesias stemming from back pain where you wrote that the rest of the spine could have become inflamed. I have increasingly bad chronic sciatic pain, paresthesias, twitches, etc. in my leg. After a few years however the prickling and tingling engulfed bilaterally my face, shoulders, arms, hands and back as well, ongoing for about a year now. MRI's and blood tests were clean.
My question is: can a nerve injury in one spot, cause irritation over the entire and upper course of the spine? I also have a tendency to hunch for long hours at the computer and have "unremarkable" bulges as C3-4 and C45. If you could shed any light it would be much much appreciated. Thank you greatly for your time. Sincerely,
Matt
