oh my goodness reading your post is like you are writing our exact situation, it isn't funny, but the similarity of someone else knowing our frustration made me laugh...I could have wrote that myself word for word! I noticed you posted this almost 2 years ago, can you tell me how things have progressed and how you continued to handle the situation after your post. I am desperate for a resolution and afraid he is going to be the weird stinky kid!!
It sound like he may have Hirschsprung Disease its when your nerve cells in your colon are missing, go see a Gastroenterologist and have your child get a biopsy to check for nerve cells, my son had the same problem since he was really young and many doctors fail to check for nerve cells, finally he had surgery for Hirschsprung and now he does so much better
