MS causes fatigue that makes it impossible for me to be the very active person I was at one time. I don't cope well all the time -- but -- I try to let my family help [that was difficult at first], I see a therapist, and I write. Keeping a journal and now blogging on Myspace has been cathartic for me. I am very honest about my feelings and about how MS is affecting my life. I think any one with a chronic illness needs to surround her/himself with POSITIVE people and not be afraid to let go of relationships that are not conducive to healing. I am going through "cleaning out my closets" right now....it's hard, but necessary. One day at a time [or one minute on a really bad day] is the best way to cope. Be well!
