About Me: Male, 60, Philadelphia, PA, member since Jun 2008
I have suffered with panic attacks, stress, agoraphobia for the past 30 years. I have been treated over and over with therapy, biofeedback, and have tried at least 30 different anti-depressants which caused my tongue to swell and my throat to close to the point of having t
[More]rouble breathing, along with a number of other side-effects that make me worse then when I first tried them. The only medications that seem to help are Vallium and Xanax. The problem with my throat started over a year ago and I have seen at least four doctors and they don't know what is causing these bumps or pimples in my throat, back of my tongue, and roof of my mouth. I woke up one morning and I started coughing up little pus nodules that lasted for about six months then stopped. At first they thought it was my tonsills, but they tell me that now my tonsills are nice and pink, but the bumps or pimples haven't gone away. It feels like sandpaper in the back of my throat. I am 52 and never had a problem like this. Any ideas what might be causing this would be greatly appreciated.
Just a quick note to say hi!
I was reading this to my aunt that has the same exact thing that you stated... She's gone to every doctor what was your outcome?
One doctor said she didn't need the biopsy but the white/red bumps weren't flared at the time. I encouraged her to go back and have them do the biopsy now that they are there.. What was your diagnosis?
Thanks so much... Faith charleston South Carolina
