Please research and think very carefully before you allow a doctor, who may not be qualified, to put a polypropelene mesh product into your body for SUI. It causes massive amounts of scarring. It can migrate within your body, the sharp edges cutting as it moves. It can
[More] erode thru your vagina or into your bladder. Your body may reject the foriegn material. Underquaified doctors can cause further harm by improper insertion of tension-free vaginal tape. Bowel and bladder can be damaged. Lengthy periods of time in lithotomy positions can cause nerve damage. Infections are frequent. Pain incessant. There ARE other alternatives! Do not be afraid to ask. If your doctor will not give any alternatives, find another doctor.
Don't become another statistic!
Just a quick note to say hi! I am SO SORRY I haven't been on for awhile, I was so sick I almost died, and I'm looking at having more surgery. I won't be off this long again. Hope you are doing well, and I think of everyone often.
