About Me: Female, 64, Palm Coast, FL, member since Jun 2008
I am married to an amazing, wonderful man and have no children (sadly). We had our own electronics representation company for many years. I have a real estate license in 2 states, was a Special Education teacher, volunteered with Special Olympics, American Cancer Soci
[More]ety, Canine Companions and 10 years at a hospital with the "Cuddler" Program (rocking and feeding premature and severely ill babies) all of which I have had to give up due to my severe headaches and hyperacusis. I love dogs, children and most people, but can't be around them right now due to the sound sensitivity. We both lived in California for 34 years before moving to Florida. I have been a caregiver to my best friend, who died of a brain tumor and also another very close friend, who died of bone cancer. I am now unable to travel. I want very much to get back to volunteering and starting a"Cuddler" Program here in Florida close to where I live.
