About Me: Female, 61, Tallahassee, FL, member since Jun 2008
My life currently revolves around work and dealing with chronic pain and fatigue from Fibromyalgia. I have Type II Diabetes. I am married and have one adult daughter. I love to sing but don't have the time/energy to attend church currently. I love to read.
Just a quick note to say hi!
I, too, have fibromyalgia. I was diagnosed in 2000. I have somehow learned to live with the pain. However, this past Sunday, I thought I had a leg cramp -- severe. I had to stay home Tuesday from work. Came back yesterday -- limping more severely than Sunday and Monday. It even hurts to sit -- upper thighs and buttocks are very painful. I have made an appointment to see my physician this afternoon. I have never had a flareup with this much intensity. Let me know what works for you. I only received Elavil to help me with sleeping when I was first diagnosed.
Just a quick note to say hi and offer a suggestion!
I have experienced this severe cramping. My Mom, who also suffers from FMS, told me to eat eggs when this happens. Oddly, it seems to help. Might be worth a try.
