Anyway try and get tested for perniciouds anemia and B12 deficiency, a simple google search shows obvious and definite links between thyroid problems and pernicious anemia. if you can't afford to do this just yet you could maybe try taking a folic acid supplement, pernicious anemai often depletes these resources in our body as well as the B12, unfortuneately B12 can't be absorbed in oral form through food or supplements if you do have pernicious anemia but folic acid can. Hi, i was just reading some of your posts and saw you get numbness in your feet was it? I was diagnosed with pernicious anemia 4 years ago after having had pins and needles in my legs for three months. I have never been "right" since treatment, have been getting leg pain recently and always suspencted having a thyroid problem and am trying to get some info together to make a case to my GP to test me as she is convinced my leg pain is to do with tendons, i could go on and on and on...
