Hi. My daughter is 11 and we have been battling this since she was about a month old. We have lived in Missouri, Georgia, and now Texas. There's not one place we have found that is better than another. Have you had his IgE levels tested. Her last test revealed hers at 32,000. We are getting it done again in about a week. She is allergeric to EVERYTHING they test her for. I don't know what else to do and they can't give allergy shots because they don't know what to put in the syringe.
My son had a rash real bad . We found out that it was 90% food . The best thing that help my son is
lather up Johnson & Johnson no more tears let it set on the infected area of the body wash off dont dry the skin .
apply triamcinolon and the Acquaphour (wal-mart) lub for the skin. I have found that Sea Salt in the bath will help him sleep.
Also he needs his own pots and pans and silverware . And make sure you wash your hands after touching other foods.
Just a quick note to say hi! I feel you frustration, my 9 yr old son is in the same boat. The rash usually begins mid June through Oct. His doc has prescribed ointment which is sort of keeping it under sort of control and the most important thing that I noticed sort of helps is after every bath or shower rub on Cetephil CREAM allover body and sometimes put on cream before bed and every morning too. At night I give him 2 prescribed allergy pills to help him sleep and to keep from scratching. momfromNM
