I had gastric bypass in May25,2007. I too have been suffering from CHRONIC abdom pain ever since, & all the same proceedures including removal of gallbladder. Stop all lactose, sugar & caffine. Try to stop meat if possible. It is what has helped me the most. Oh and on bad days I sip Hot decaf tea w/sweetnlow. It helps more than narcotics. There is a drug called toradol ( I think I spelled it right) It is a non-narcotic, But I only get it at the hospital, I guess they won't make enough$ if they put it a home formula. But it does work GREAT! Narcotics only aggrivate the issue, at least for me. I hope this helps. From Mrs Kimberly Campos , Fort Wayne, IN
