Man EI is such as pain in the ***.. I applied as soon as I was hospitalized and taken off work because I wanted to make sure that i got the process moving.. Then I found out from work that I would receive two more full pay cheques (which was amazing news). Then my work didnt get me my ROE right away but I submitted it as soon as I got it.. but they didnt register me as submitting it until like 15 days later... Im glad i called today because honestly nothing would have been done if I didnt.. they updated my file to state that i have had my baby now too... lets just say if by Nov. 10th, things are sorted, Ill be sitting here redialing until they take my call and I wont be very nice about it.. I really hope I dont lose my back pay because its BS as I am 100% eligible for the sick leave
