Glad you have some items ready for stitching. I'm doing a bit of cross stitch but no big items like quilts. Way too hot for that. And I bought material for a redwork series I want to embroider and make into a quilt. Again, not the weather for that. Our Spring and early Summer was quite cool. Now it's suddenly turned hot. It will be 102 on Thursday. I'm not happy. Then again, come October it will be frosty again. Take care of yourself. Thanks for leaving out water for all the little strays. They get hot too.
You are so wonderful/kind to stay in touch. Interesting year so far with hubby's mom dying early this year, now his Dad is failing fast: health and mind. So sad to see since he's such a sweet man. Still caring for my mom whose mind is slipping but she refuses to admit her confusion. Our cat finally lost her battle to cancer this Friday, died on my husband's birthday. The next morning our DIL went into labor and we now have a new grand daughter: Phoebe Cora. Interesting name combination. That's my life in a nutshell. I'd love to hear how you've been. Health, activities, sewing? Hugs.
Thank you. I'm doing OK. Just one of those stinky heart days that pop up now and then. Too much stress at home. But I can't avoid life, can I? I'll finish up some stitching and start on a couple of baby quilts for my new grand children soon to arrive. That will be a nice distraction.
A hospital trip? That's no fun. I do hope it isn't anything serious this time round. Life is interesting (a nice way to put it) here. Our daughter is having a high risk pregnancy again. My mom was real rude to my husband twice on the phone and we had to deal with her bad attitude. I fell today and smacked my face on the ground. I discovered my head bounces quite well. :-) Now I have a headache and various bruises. A good excuse to stay in and stitch. You take care, rest and stitch too. I'll be working on a redwork quilt this year. I have 2 baby quilts to finish first.
