I'm a homeschooling wife and mother to three amazing children, ages 10, 12, 14. I've been taking opiates since my back fell apart, nearly ten years ago. I've been to hell and back with my pain many times, and here I am now doing it with withdrawal from methadone. Metha
[More]done saved my life, so I'm grateful for it, but it's time for it to go and my body is very unhappy about it. I'm still living with chronic and acute pain, but I hope to never have to use pain meds again. I'm trying to build drug-free memories with and for my children.
Thank you for the note. I am doing better I think. I am really trying to enjoy him as much as I can, he really is a sweet boy, and I love him dearly, he is just really trying. He knows just what buttons to push. But I have been trying to remind myself that he won't be little for very long. I can't believe that my daughter is 9, it seems like only yesterday she was 2! So it does go by fast, but in the moment sometimes, it feels like a lifetime. Know what I mean? Anyway, I think we are doing better! Thanks so much! I am really liking medhelp so far! :)
Hope you feel better soon!
Just take it slow. If you need to up the dosage then do so and don't feel bad about it. Take all the time you need..It took along time to get to this point so don't push yourself too hard getting yourself off them.
