Just a quick note to say hi! I have same symptoms only it is on my shins. Yes heat seems to make it worse. Rubbing it really gets it going. If I treat it as soon as it starts itchy I can control it better. Usually after evening and morning and sometimes next evening it goes away. I use Nystatin cream usp 100000 usp units by Qualitest. Rx only. Works. Just takes longer sometimes. Lightly apply don't rub.
Just wanted to let you know I can relate. If you ever want to talk, you know where to find me.

I used to cut hair too! I recently had x-rays on my neck due to the accident, but they were normal. My chiropractor always said I was really out of whack . I also have sciatica problems, so that is no fun either. It seems like I always have pain somewhere! Getting old *****! haha
My husband TRIES to understand the itching, but still continues to ask me if I switched detergents, or something like that! I tell him it has nothing to do with that!! I do wish he could have it for one night , JUST to know how truly bad it is!
I am making my appt. today, thanks for those links, I will check them out .
