My sister had a bleeding pituatary removed through the cranium which is not totally comparable to yours. However, please get a second opinion as the swelling may need to be relieved by removing (and this sounds awful but may be needed) if your swelling continues....removing a piece of the skull called a bone flap...which then can be replaced after the pressure is relieved. Not fun,but you really need to get someone to address that if it has not gone down. Hope you are doing better!
