About Me: Female, 60, Dayton, OH, member since Jul 2008
MS is eroding my brain but not my spirit - I was officially dx'd in September 2008 but have probably had this lurking in my body for at least a decade. I am one of several community co-leaders here and find it very satisfying to connect with all of you. Patient-to-pati
[More]ent advocacy is the strongest connection that I know of to make us better, mentally and physically.
My life as a heart and MS patient is pretty much an open book - there are lots more details in my journal entries.
Hi Lulu. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas Day. Thank you for your note. I miss you. I am Secondary Progressive now. I am handling it. My daughter has had a much tougher course than me and will be declared legally blind by Social Security. She no longer drives and it's been tough on her. I think that the medical community ought to start looking deeper into this disease being genetic. Thank you again for keeping in touch. I hope that you are doing alright, precious one. You are a true angel, Lulu. Big Hugs and Much Love to my MedHelp sister.
