Also i forgot to mention check out narcolepsy its caused by a problem in the hypothalamus like fevers can be. My daughters going to have a sleep study it explains alot. Like behavioral problems. In my oppinion like her pediatrican my daughters fevers might be from a problem with her hypothalamus thats caused from the cyst some how. The fevers are the only things really that are not explained as of yet, but narcolepsy can be related so check it out.

Well she has serious behavior issues, the oppositional defiant disorder with adhd. Shes a handful we are working with a therapist to atleast make life a little easier for everyone. My daughter is terrible i hate to say it but she is, she will pee on the floor on purpose shes combative. She once tried to set her hand on fire while i was cooking dinner cause someone wouldnt play with her, i had to throw her away from the stove. I disapline her and use behavioral therapy and nothing works. She often looks like she dosent know what shes doing almost like shes taken drugs. She hasnt had any fevers in a long time, but im watchful since they happen with out notice. Her next mri is in 2 years her cyst is stable and not growing.

I worry most about the fevers because they keep getting worse, Its hard all of this. Im not sure if i will ever get answers but i wont stop trying. Fevers have to be related since out children are very similar. What about the staring off into space and getting really giggly and runing around in circles, my daughter started doing that about your daughters age. Does your child experience this also? Its kind of like my daughter took drugs or drank liquor. Like shes drunk, not expression to her face at all, like she has dead eyes but all the energy in the world. She doesnt realise she does things like she dosent think about anything and just reacts. Have you seen a neurosurgeon or seen the mri films?

then spike a fever of 104 wake up 20 mins later perfectly fine. She puzzled every doctor before they found the cyst. Some doctor and her therapist think its the cyst for her problems but the neurologist and neurosurgeon said its not the cause of anything. Every time she has an episode her fevers get higher she gets more out of it, staring off into space and talking in bah dah buh words, like shes more and more losing her mind. I know that seizures are related to these cysts as well and im not sure of the spelling but you should look up Postictal psychosis sounds like what your child is experiencing. Cyst in the brain cause localized pressure that can trigger a seizure. Arachnoid Cyst Syndrome is also a possibility. Get a second oppinion i am currently looking for one.
