Sorry its not been too good. Manics are great whilst you in them but boy don't you feel a prat when you come back down to earth! Been there a fair few times! Spending money - yep, ***** doesn't it! Hope you start to feel more "contained" soon. I'm here if you need to talk. Helen x
Just a quick note to check you are ok. Helen xx
I know just what you mean with regards to the job front, I am so unreliable and find it difficult to hold down a job. It is a good job that I can claim disability for the bipolar, I hate having benefits but the stress of working was affecting my health and thats what disability is there for. It must seem so unfair that your sister fell pregnant "accidentally" and I can only imagine how gut renching it must be, and your feelings towards her son are completely understandable. I take it you must have had various tests etc, IVF is such a tough road, a relative of mine had IVF a few times she did eventually have children so hang on in there. I best get on with sorting out the finances, what a headache that is. Take care. Helen
Hi Becky, I know what you mean about it being less confusing before the diagnosis, lol. I find I am always second guessing myself and analyzing everything I do now which I never did before, I thought everyone was like me, lol! I was diagnosed almost 3 years ago but think I've had it pretty much since I was about 15. I see you have listed citalopram in your interests, are you taking this? I took it for a while (my husband also takes it for stress) but it never really worked for me. It must be hard with going down the baby route as well, have you been trying for long? And you work as well! Your doing great! I haven't worked since the diagnosis - I was really bad at the time, but I do hope to get back to work once I find the right medication. Take care. Helen
