I absolutely LOVE all animals. If I see one in trouble, I go out of my way to help them-including birds(I've saved a couple of birds in the past). I'm a little scared of birds-LOL, but It doesn't stop me from helping them!! I am into physical fitness-been lifting wei
[More]ghts for over 10 yrs-heavy weights(women should celebrate their strength-physically and mentally). I am into new age things-tarot, numerology, and especially astrology. I also love to shoot pool-I used to be an awesome pool player, but I am out of practice now because of school. I am in radiography school now-and I am completely stressed over it and it's only my third semester!!! Good God-wish me luck!!!!
Thank you for your sweet words, honey. While it Has been stressful, what else do I have to do with myself all day but care for my beloved Jade the best I can. We just gave her the first pill a few mins ago. She's been eating a good 24hrs now that she's been off the antib which has been a relief. Hopefully she will tolerate it better this time around. Fingers crossed!!
Jades weight began dipping back in Mar of 2013. Prior to that she was a steady 9lbs plus a few oz's. 6.5lbs is the lowest she's ever been. Thanks for the heads up on the Methimazole. Antib (that I shouldn't of even given her, UGH) was discontinued yesterday am, so she's eating a little better today. Will begin the Meth tomorrow but I don't hold high hopes her tummy will tolerate it...not to mention the side effects you spoke of. We tried giving her the meth last yr but had to stop as that was right on the heels of her not eating AT ALL due to the eventual IBD dx, I just hope it goes better this time. God, I'm tellin' you, this has been such a stressful 8yrs with her...that I wouldn't trade for the world!
Hi honey, and thanks for all the tips with the T meds. R is picking them up today. We begin the regimen of 1 tablet a day (they're fairly small thankfully!!) after we're done with the antib. Don't want to give too many pills at once. She is already becoming suspect when we pick her up for the clavamox and eye ointment as it is! lol Poor baby, ZQ, 6½ lbs she weighed at the vet last week. :(
