About Me: Female, 31, Ragley, LA, member since Aug 2008
Living with PCOS. Trying to conceive since November 2006. On 1500mg of Metformin daily since February 2007. Conceived via follistim injections and intrauterine insemination on July 11, 2007 (lost twins to miscarriage in September 2007) and also on June 4, 2008 (lost
[More] to miscarriage in July 2008). Discovered I have Lupus Anticoagulant Antibodies (blood clotting disorder) in August 2008. Did follistim and IUI again on August 27, 2008 with injections of Lovenox, 81mg aspirin, & extra folic acid during pregnancy to help blood clotting. I gave birth to our first child, my son, Brody Gage on April 28, 2009 at 10:43pm. He was due on May 20th, but I was induced three weeks early due to dangerously low amniotic fluid. He was in the NICU for 3 days due to pneumothorax. He's here and he's healthy and he's the most wonderful thing I've ever experienced!!
