Hello Suzin. My name is Tina, I am 25 years old and have had anxiety disorder since I was 17. I also wish very badly to get pregnant, but having my degree in behavioral pharmacology, I know that with my meds that is not at all a safe thing to do to a fetus. I noticed your question about Xanax during pregnancy. Xanax is a class D drug, which is the worst kind for a fetus, the next is class X where the fetus would be killed. I would strongly recommend switching to Klonopin, a longer lasting "version" of Xanax and much easier to wean with. All research I have ever performed points to severe physical and mental impairment if any amount of a class D drug is taken during pregnancy. I hope this helps you. Best wishes!
