Hi. I am new to all of this. I have been where you are....for far too long. I have been a patient at a pain clinic for years. And I am willing to try anything my dr recommends. I feel that she has my well being as her main concern. I have been on methadone treatment for years now and finally have a life again. I was almost bed ridden for a few years. My kids didnt have much of a mom, my husband didnt have much of a wife and I did not have any sort of a life....outside of pain. I went to my pharmacist and asked about a non-narcotic medication, Lyrica. And her exact words to me were, "you are one of the lucky ones that found something that works. Do you want to give that all up and start over again?" That was enough for me. I feel as close to "normal" as I ever have. Deanne
