About Me: Female, 47, Hammond, IN, member since Sep 2008
Our family is a home educated family. I'm a stay-at-home, home school mom who has experienced a medical and mental crash over the past year. I'm now re-building and defining a new normal for myself. I have a lot of challenging days, but I'm feeling better now than I
[More] was last July.
I have previously worked as a social service designee and spiritual caregiver. I am a Lutheran Deaconess, but am reconsidering whether or not that is an appropriate place for me to practice my call to ministry.
Using the various trackers that are available through MedHelp is already helping me to see that there is progress. I'm also beginning to use the trackers to help me make small, attainable goals. Attaining one small goal at a time will build a foundation for bigger improvements over time. This gives me hope.
I wasn't initially here to meet others, but now that my confidence and hope are growing, I think I do want to meet others to offer and receive support.
