Dear Marblehead,
I am well. Just having tough time with fatigue and some pain from the surgery in 2006 (nerve related).
I am working 36 hours a week.
Not sure if I am that brave or just trying to survive day to day... I love to help advocate for others and teach them how to navigate the health care field cause it isn't easy and I work in it.
Take Care and get that appointment.
Lady T
Hi Marbelhead,
As a registered Nurse and an ovarian cancer survivor I am insisting that you go to a specialist... Surgical GYN Oncologist to have at least a laproscopy, tissue can be taken at that time and biopsies sent for further testing.
I was 27 years of age with your same symptoms, being told I had cysts on my ovaries.
After much determination I had the above surgery and the biopsy was "Borderline Ovarian Tumor" at that time I had a partial hysterectomy and 7 months later I had a complete due to recurrent disease.
Today I am 46 years old and in 2006 I found a lump in my neck... I have metastatic ovarian cancer by text book Stage 4, underwent a radical neck disection, chemo, and radiation between July 2006- February of 2007.
Good luck
