Hey there, For some reason didn't get your note until now, hope you are doing okay and your mum too. Prof Kaye called my mum personally which we thought was amazing but he said he couldn't operate which was rather a blow but I think he operation was too risky and they thought the remaining tumours may have been inactive so it would be better to leave alone. Anyway her CA125 is back on the rapid increase so working out next steps at the moment. We hope to be back in touch with the Royal Marsden and it may be they will try the operation now so perhaps we may meet there in the near future. Just wanted to drop you a note to see how things are going. My mum is finished chemo now - she couldn't take the last one as she has her bloods are non existent. Despite the chemo, she still has 3 tumours on the liver/diaphragm and peritoneum so she is being referred to Royal Marsden to see whether they will attempt surgery so will look up the surgeon you recommended - thank you so much for all the information and contact details. Please do let me know how things are going - I have some info on nutrition and some alternative that mum is using also if you would be interested Jen

Just a quick note to say hello. Was thinking about you and wanted to see how your mum was. I also wanted to thank you for sharing your doctors information My mum is now half way through her chemo and has had her second scan which I am going to send to the contacts you provided for a second opinion. Everything seems to be going well aside from some delays due to her platelets and her CA125 is now down to 23. Like everyone else we bought lots of alternative remedies but mum has continued taking COQ10 and is convinced that it is helping - if nothing else, it's generally good for you! Take care Jenny

Thanks for your note. I hope Mom is doing well, all things considered. I just finished round 3 of topotecan. I will get 4 rounds and it my CA does not respond, we will try yet another drug. I'm optimistic this will work. I am handling it very well. Good luck with Mom and don't hesitate to drop me a note if I can help in any way. Keeping you all in my prayers, Judy
