I am happily married (28 years!) to a very patient and loving man. We have raised 3 kids (three of mine, one of ours) the best we could with what we had. I'm a retired schoolbus driver, my husband was injured when 2 tires on the same side blew out while he was loaded wi

[More]th a full load of logs. the log truck did not have seatbelts, so he bounced around in the cab of the truck as he calls it ' like a peanut in a can '. This happened in 1999. He injured his shoulders, his back, and his pelvis. To this day I am still picking glass out of his scalp as it slowly migrates out. Amazingly, by 6 o'clock on the day he rolled the log truck his boss drove him home! They roll up and my husband gets out of the pick-up with a plastic neck brace on and I lost it. When I found out that the accident happened about 8:30 that morning, I began chewing up his boss' behind and down the other! But thankfully, the main damage is mental and nerve damage. He did break the AC (I think?) bones in his shoulder and he did wrench the muscles in his neck. And with a huge amount of cuts and bruises. I'm glad he has such a hard head or I would have lost him that day. He's disabled though, and up my hiney most of the time except when he's tending the lawn or tinkering with the weed eater or the lawn mower. But he is my angel. We just pray and hope that our youngest son who is in Santa Rosa C.I., Milton, FL will somehow go for therapy and psych problems. I know that when he's taking his meds, he's different person. He'll live with us for a while and since we've moved away from the crowd he used to hang with, he won't be tempted. But, and this I insist, no I demand - he will go to the local tech school and get a degree in something!
