I saw online that you are a nursing student and have a question. I shattered my heel in September and was checked into the hospital and put on morphine for the pain. They put a pump on to help the pain but didn't set a max amount of morphine for me to use. I lost over a day of time and have no idea where it went but when I started coming too the nurses and doctor that was in the room said that my blood ox fell to 70% and they almost "lost" me. I remember getting stuck in my wrist and it being painful a few times but that is all I can remember for about 30 hours. Was it really that serious or was what happened "normal"?
