I'm a 44 married male who came accross this site while trying to
[More] obtain information in regards to having a prostatic rectal fistula.
We live on about 100 acres and enjoy the country life. My wife and I have three children.
I have had numerous urological problems. In 1996 i was diagnosed as having a neurogenic bladder and in 1998 I was diagnosed with hereditary peripheral neuropathy.
My interests are computers, photograpy and video, music and mechanical work but I'm really limited what I can do mechanically eventhough it used to be my trade prior to having become disabled.
I'm also interested in researching medical issues.
Since the last 5 days, i have been experiencing frequent urination. After i pass urine, i feel the urge to pass urine again after half hour or hour. Initially, there was slight burning when passing urine but not anymore. I got urine test done but it shows no infection. One month ago, i got digestive problems and acidity and doctor gave me Zantac for that and i was fine within a week. Now ocassionally, i experience acidity and burning in stomach so i avoid fried foods. I do not understand why i am experiencing frequent urination. It all started after i masturbated 5 days ago. Does it have to do with masturbation? I have also been very stressed out recently. Does it have do with stress?
Thank you for your note. I have not been on this site in a long time. My life has been rather an odd sequence of tragedies but through it all God has led me to his grace. I am now attending Bible college and majoring in Biblical Studies. I may dual major in Psychology to counsel people who have had problems in their life. Not that I believe a person needs a degree to have deep knowledge of God and Christ though. That comes through the relationship when the Holy Spirit teaches all things. My injury has recurred just in time for me to start my 2nd semester. Satan truly is the destroyer.
Just a quick note to say hi!
Please let me know how you are dealing with self catheterization. Are you house bound or are you able to travel and cath when not at home?
My husband may be facing permanent self-catheterization and we're both scared and depressed about it.
I understand, I cant hear it or feel air coming out in my case and in doing research it tells me that i should hear it . Has the passing of gas gotten progressively worse or stayed the same? Did the doc try giving you some antibiotics/medication?
I will definitely say a prayer for you, and I thank your for your patience as im sure some people probabaly think I'm joking, I would never joke about health issues
