Hey Frankie, so how were the holidays? I hope you had a very happy time. Got the news today that I need a 2 level lumbar fusion etc. where they go through the front then flip you over and go through the back. Did you mention that you had back surgery? Was it lumbar? If so what did you have done? I'm having a hard time deciding if it's the way to go, spine doc said no other options considering my films and pain level and the fact that I'm an active person. I go in for wrist/elbow surgery Wed. the 7th...ugh. None of my pain meds will help so I'm dreading post op!!! Enough whining, I just discovered a mama skunk under my hay pallets with little ones that peek out at me when I shine the light, cute if they stay away from the house, PU How's the stim. doing? xo's Marcy

HI, sorry it took so long for me to reply to you note. I was happy with the pain reduction at first, but after 3 adjustments im still not getting what I had hoped for from the SCS unit. I go in again on the 24th of Dec for another adjustment. I hope that you are getting some good reduction from your SCS unit. I hope that at my next visit we can find a new place for some better reduction in pain. But also now I am starting to get pain down my right leg, this really ***** now that I have pain in both legs. Well enough of my sob story. Again I hope that you are getting good pain reduction with your SCS unit. And have a happy holiday. R/Adam

Happy Holidays! so glad the stim is working better for you. The only thing that was a pain was through security like at the airport. Took a cruise to Caribbean and had to be frisked everytime I got back on the boat. I got to the point of yelling "Female assist" and then I would "assume the position" to get frisked, people always wonder what you did to get frisked LOL! Let their imagination run wild :-) I would give you my home e-mail so we don't have to go through the forum just to say Hi but unsure how to do it w/o other's getting it. Just had a huge downpour of corn snow, my poor horses look like I'm abusing them. They DO have a shelter but do they use it? So your dogs get mad at you for a bath? Mine just roll all over and get really hyper. Used up my 800 limit. xo Marcy

Thank you! It's so nice to hear from you. Did you get your stim. "tweaked" (as in adjusted) like you mentioned? Did it work and were they able to hit better spots for it? I've been through them and it's nice when they can do it externally, huh? I'm OK, just can't wait for wrist/elbow surgery...it's going to be a big one but I need it so bad. This thrus. go in for a lumbar discogram and CT scan and THAT is what has me scared, I hate those things. The son and his family are driving up from San Diego tomorrow to stay (at her parents down the road) for the holidays. I'm glad it's not here, not kid ready :-) Justin will be elected to do "mama duty" since my husband has to work on Thurs. and I'll need a driver for the procedure. Great kid.
