I tried ct from tram just over a year ago - it was brutal - this time I am tapering - off about 20 a day. It has been a long, slow processs - over 5 months - I am now down to about 200mg per day - and has not been terrible - hang in there!
Hob, Agree with that feeling of thinking we are alone with our problem. In fact, one of the most common comments by newcomers is something like, "wow, I had no idea that so many other people were experiencing this." Tramadol burst onto the scene in about 1995, "discovered" in Germany and introduced here without a great deal of trials. It isa problem that is largely swept under the rug. There is a HUGE amount of misinformation. None of us knew about things like TOLERANCE or withdrawal from the drug at first, so don't feel alone. Slowly, States are realizing how problematic the drug is and 5-6 States have actually taken steps to "schedule" it. Keep hanging around. fred

You certainly do not need to have stopped the T to be here. Keep coming back. People at all stages of their battle with this drug hang around here. Best Wishes, fred
