Just a quick note to say hi! I agree with you. I had a colonoscopy in July 2008, and I swear I have not been the same since. It took a long time for me to recover and to pass the excess gas, but even today, I have stomach issues I never had before. I have an increase in bowel movements, sometimes 2 or three a day, and my stomach and abdomen always hurt. These doctors insist that we should be fine a few hours after the procedure, but I think that the prep does a horrible job on our system. It is really barbaric. I wish they could find something else. I try to stay hydrated. I drink plenty of water and try to stay high fiber. Remember, you're not alone. Hang in there
